(Photo by Joe Robbins/Getty Images)The NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana is set to wrap up today, with the defensive backs taking the field for their set of drills. It’s been an eventful weekend in Indianapolis, with Kyler Murray making all of the headlines at the start of the event with his measurables. Since then, players like Ohio State’s Parris Campbell and LSU’s Devin White have received a lot of attention for their standout performances.Unfortunately, it’s not just the players who are performing well that are getting attention. As always, the players who are disappointing are getting headlines, too.NFL Draft analyst Bucky Brooks has named two “losers” at the NFL Combine this weekend. Those two players: Florida’s Jachai Polite and Alabama’s Mack Wilson. With scouts also murmuring about some uninspired team interviews, Polite has some work to do to reverse his sliding stock.***Although a number of prospects decline to work out on the big stage, Wilson’s partial participation coincides with some buzz about shaky interviews with teams that’s led to concerns about his potential and value.Brooks wasn’t the only analyst who was critical of Polite.Just landed back home, opened my phone and had 5 texts from scouts about how bad Jachai Polite interviewed. On top of bad workouts (one called his injury “bullshit”), his stock is taking a massive tumble.— Matt Miller (@nfldraftscout) March 3, 2019This is just one step of the NFL Draft process, of course, but Polite and Wilson appear to have some work to do moving forward.last_img
