Because as of now, one of the top QBs on the board might not be going to the NFL next year.In a new report from CBS Sports, it was revealed that Oregon QB Justin Herbert is likely returning to school in 2019.The report states that NFL scouts and even agents are not optimistic about Herbert joining the NFL next year.The 6’6″ Herbert is considered the top QB prospect by many pundits. Some have predicted Herbert would be the No. 1 overall pick in 2019.2018 has been a breakout year for Herbert. He has 1,883 passing yards with 18 TDs and just five INTs – just shy of career highs in all categories.Several NFL QBs who were No. 1 prospects in their junior year ultimately stayed for a senior year and were still the No. 1 overall draft pick. Peyton Manning chose to stay at school in 1997, while Andrew Luck stayed at Stanford in 2011.The 2019 NFL Draft is set for April 25.last_img
